Question 1

What should I do on a rainy day?

Accepted Answer

Rainy days happen! Here are some ideas: visit Broadway at the Beach for shopping and the aquarium, check out local breweries like Crooked Hammock or New South, catch a movie, explore the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum, or hit up a local coffee shop in Conway. Ask me for more specific recommendations based on what you're into!

Question 2

Where can I find good food trucks?

Accepted Answer

The Grand Strand has a growing food truck scene! Many pop up at breweries, events, and rotating locations. Ask me what's out today or what type of food you're craving and I can point you in the right direction.

Question 3

What are the best local restaurants?

Accepted Answer

Depends what you're craving! For seafood, head to Murrells Inlet. For craft beer and good eats, Conway's downtown is underrated. For tacos, beach bites, pizza, BBQ — just ask and I'll give you real recommendations, not chain restaurants.

Question 4

Is Myrtle Beach good for families?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — it's one of the most family-friendly beach destinations on the East Coast. Tons of mini golf, the SkyWheel, Ripley's Aquarium, beaches with lifeguards, and restaurants that welcome kids. Ask me for age-specific ideas!

Question 5

What's the difference between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle?

Accepted Answer

Myrtle Beach is the main hub — more hotels, attractions, and crowds. North Myrtle Beach is quieter, more spread out, popular with families and golf groups. Ocean Drive in North Myrtle is also the birthplace of the Shag dance and has a fun retro beach vibe.

Question 6

Where should I stay?

Accepted Answer

Depends on your vibe! Downtown Myrtle Beach = walkable, busy, close to everything. North Myrtle = quieter, more residential. Surfside = chill family beach town. Murrells Inlet = seafood lovers, less beachy. Tell me what matters to you and I'll narrow it down.
